How to use Short URL

  1. Paste a long link (starting with http:// or https://) into the box.
  2. Click Shorten to get a short link like /s/xxxxxx.
  3. Click Copy to share it, or use the QR code to print it on documents and posters.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. You can shorten links right away without signing up.

Is there a limit on how many links I can create?

Yes, to prevent spam: up to 5 links per minute and 30 links per hour for each IP address.

Can I choose a custom name for the short link?

No. Codes are always random, so nobody can impersonate a trusted name with a misleading link.
